Is it free?
Yes. The code and design files are open; you only buy the hardware.
Do I need Arduino software to flash the firmware?
No. The flasher is built into the Wdeck app. Plug in the ESP32, open Install firmware and press Build & upload — or use the web flasher.
Which OS is supported?
Windows. macOS is on the roadmap.
Can I contribute?
Yes — the firmware and app source are open. Fork, improve and send pull requests. Makes and remixes on Printables are welcome too.
Where are the STL files?
On Printables. Updated case designs are published there first.
The display stays blank after wiring. What now?
Check each line against the wiring table, confirm VCC is on 3.3 V, and try swapping the MOSI line if the panel still shows nothing.
